This fits a dynamic model to process data collected during plant testing. It can be applied not only to the simulated processes but can import data, via spreadsheets, from real plant tests. The model derived can be transferred to the tuning package in order to optimise controller tuning.
It will model both self-regulating and integrating processes. In addition to the dynamic constants it will also estimate the level of measurement noise. The user can select which of the data are used in modelling, for example to exclude other process disturbances.
